Roland M. Fuertez M.D.
Board Certified Physician
Dr. Roland M. Fuertez is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine as well as by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Geriatrics. He completed his residency at the Somerset Family Medicine Program in Somerset, NJ. Dr. Fuertez completed his Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is the former Chief Resident at the Somerset Family Medicine Residency.
As a board certified Geriatrician, Dr. Fuertez has an in depth understanding of the problems that need to be addressed earlier in life to bring about a graceful aging process. We have transformed our practice to guide patients towards a more active and youthful lifestyle. Outside of the office, Dr. Fuertez enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He enjoys activities such as bodyboarding and running. I look forward to caring for the needs of our patients from a new and personalized perspective.
Tammy Yates
Operations Manager, CPT-1, CET, CCMA
Tammy has been in management for over 20 years, starting with a retail chain as Store Manager and becoming a District Trainer and winning Top Store Manager in her Region. She furthered her education in the medical field earning her certifications as a CPT-1, CCMA and CET, she has enjoyed being in the medical field since 2011.
She is very strong with leadership and organization and always works with the physician and staff to make sure your experience with our office is an enjoyable one that you want to tell friends and family about.
Ashley Whittemore, RN
Registered Nurse
Ashley has been a Registered Nurse since 2005. In 2007 she changed her focus to Aesthetic nursing, and she has been with MD Diet since 2015. Ashley is a master injector whos goal is to make people feel beautiful and refreshed. She also has a depth of laser experience that has been honed by over a decade of experience on numerous lasers in this rapidly developing field.
Ashley is happily married to her husband of 12 years and has two young daughters. In her spare time she likes spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Lindsey Alkema, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Lindsey Alkema joined our team in the summer of 2015. She is a physician assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the California State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Brigham Young University Hawaii, where she graduated manga cum laude. Lindsey is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She is also an Allergan certified master injector.
Whether it be providing guidance in lifestyle changes, or helping patients find confidence using non-invasive cosmetic procedures, she takes the time to establish personalized treatment goals for each patient.
When she is not working, she enjoys biking, surfing, and beach days with her husband and daughter.
Samantha Chapparone PA-C
Physician Assistant
Samantha Chapparone was born and raised in San Diego County where her interests in heath, wellness and fitness were fostered. She obtained her undergraduate degree at California State University Long Beach and completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences. She enjoyed training in aesthetic medicine as a Physician Assistant Student and naturally gravitated to the field upon graduation. She is committed to helping her patients reach their goals and feel their best selves.
Outside of MD Diet of Temecula she enjoys spending time with her spouse and animals as well as activities such as yoga, Pilates, hiking, and gardening.
